I've installed Navigator and downloaded the OSM maps on an Android phone. The app fails to find a route Rabat, Morocco -> Nouakchott, Mauritania. At http://map.project-osrm.org which uses OSM maps the route was successfully calculated. I may miss something, but it looks like an app's fault, as the road itself is on the map.
I am new to both Android and OSM (used Nokia for the last 3 years). If there are logs/messages I could post here to locate the bug more precisely, please tell me how.
If so, I have no idea how to "fix it at http://www.osm.org". Actually, at their side things seem to work out (note the link in the original post). So the map itself should be OK. The road through the no-man's-land is visible on the map.
Please let me explain how it works. We provide free software, but do not make maps. Free maps are created by volunteers at www.openstreetmaps.org - anybody can join and help to make maps better using their local knowledge.
This could be boundary/border problem. I suppose that you would like to use N1/N5 near lat=21.338396, lon=-16.950348, right? thank you Martin Edit: p.s. the route is there, is it a mountain pass? If the category is low, you can add waypoint there
