Thank you all. It turned out that also my "Samsung My Files" app is capable of opening GPX files with Navigator.

Calculate Route return screen
I second this! This is also an issue when you are navigating but need to temporarily leave the map. Once you return to the map, you need to tap several times onto the symbol to restore the previous zoom level. Really bad while driving.

@filips I use the app in my car with Bluetooth, but I have no Android Auto. Since the app update, I get no sound over Bluetooth.

Navigator and Map Explorer Routing Points are to big (v. 20.0.1)
Under "My Places" --> "My Routes" you can tap on a route and choose "Share as GPX".
