Zmatená navigace
Je to divná konvence a pořád si myslím, že chyba je na straně Navigátora, ale budiž. V mapě jsem tedy u obou nájezdů doplnil tagy oneway=no. Tagging oneway Most motorway_link roads will be one way, and should be tagged oneway=yes. Any unusual moto…

@Oldie: I have even tried 0 km/h with no effect. Do you realy use free maps?

I am afraid that Rudi is right in every point: urban speed settings have absolutely no effect for routing and time estimation. It is just a meaningless value (for OSM maps!). there is an obvious bug in use (or rather non use) of speed limits in OSM

Road types (Navigator 12 vs. OSM)
I tried to prepare english localisation file with road types according to OSM habits and czech localisation file according to local convention (both for MFF v. 14.1.2). Hope it can be useful for those, who are confused as me :).

motorway, motorway link = 0 trunk = 1 trunk link =2 (why this link has its own category?) primary, primary link = 3 secondary = 4 secondary link =5 (why this link has its own category?)

Hi mdx, it seems that road structure needs rethinkink and complete reorganisation. Why trunk and secondary links have their own numbers (2, 5) while motorway and primary links have no special category?

@tomas unclassified, service and residential roads are together by now. And I think there i really not much practical difference betwen them.

Przemek you are rigth! Cars cannot pass steps if there is an aditional key motor_vehicle=no! Its great! So the problem is a wrong import of steps by Mapfactor?? @tomas There are 9 now, I think 8 is enough: Motorway, trunkPrimarySecondaryTerciaryunc…

@PrzemekSupak steps by default implies access=no, foot=yes see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Steps so they shouldnt be passable by default neither by car neither by bicycle.

I think I'm finally beginning to understand, hooray =)) ! There is no difference between car, pedestrian and bicycle: what is important is only what type of road is checked/unchecked, am I right? OK, it is certainly not very intuitive, but …

@tomas Yes, but default car also does not go through tracks! So default is not enough for many drivers and countries. I agree with Oldie: the rule is very simple! @PrzemekSupak Sorry I don't understand your comment, can you explain it :)?

16.6.2014, steps here were added a year ago. Problem isn't with default Car, only when Other road is checked. But I think that Other road shouldn't include path, steps and other road types with tags access=no or motor_vehicle=no.

Missing turning instruction
Yes. In similar situations. More exactly the instruction is "Turn right in 200 m". Even more confusing it is from Davídkova to Liberecká in Prag. Instruction "Turn right" is just before left turn. (Don't look at OSM, I hav…

Wrong road type import from OSM
As I see it is just a matter of rendering. Two levels of road types are rendered as white. It doesn't mean, that you can't prefere one to another. Untermenzinger is prefered to Ohlauer even with default setings. I can't find amboss…
