Tom Tom maps: size, updates and installation options

    I would like to buy the Tom Tom maps but I have three questions:

    * How much memory capacity is required for the 48 US states?

    * For how long would I get free map upgrades?

    * Can I download the maps to a PC and then transfer them to my Android phone?

    - USA only maps are approx 4.2GB (note, that you do not have to download/use all at the same time)
    - upgrades are paid
    - in case of trouble it is possible to download maps on PC and transfer it (even I would recommend)
