I may have missed something, but am I right in thinking Navigator Free does not accept postcodes for UK? I keep getting 'not recognised'.

Hi Mike,
go to Map manager/download aps and download UK postcodes.

Tomas, If I go to Search I get only an option "by address and name". If I select this then try typing in a post code it still says 'no result'. It can find the town name but will still not accept the UK post code although I have now downloaded the UK postcodes file, Any ideas?

I think you are looking in POIs - postcodes are under Search/Address, in town field

The date on the UK postcode OSM says 2011 - Ordnance Survey update every 3 months - can we apply updates or must we wait until ??

OS UK postcodes are a little bit special case and are not converted automatically. We will update them ...

We use the Ordnance Survey file on a very regular basis to help us plan delivery routes so we have a couple of routines we use to convert into a format for our in-house systems. Is the conversion software GPL or a "special" that may (or may not) be included within our processing cycle?

Any idea on when they will be updated? It is surprising how many new/changed postcodes there are every 3 months.

this postcode exists i TomTom maps, but not in free maps
we will see why

I think it is due to the fact that the free maps version of postcode is dated 2011 and this code is only 9 months old

Hi Andrew,
the postcodes are on update (Early Maps) now ... or better within 1hour when the server sync. If there is a problem, please let me know (the update was half-manual). Your postcode "IP257FD" is included.

I have the same problem with postcode MK44 1SB......says 'no result'

Do I need to download (UK-OSM 0.2GB) and (UK Postcode Ordnance Survey 14MB)

I'm running Android 4.4 KitKat on samsung galaxy Note3.

1. Can I move Navigator Free App to External SD Card ?

2. Can I install/download maps to External SD Card ?
