maximum of waypoints in route and favourites

Just wondering:
How many waypoints can I have in a route? (My places / MY ROUTES)
and:
How many favorites and groups can be made? (My places / Favorites)

afaik there are no limits for waypoints in a route, but to many causes to many flags on your screen.
And favorites and groups probably as much as your device has free GB. They are stored in a xml-file.

Yesterday I created a route with 55 waypoints. Then I created 16 loops. So the new route contained 880 waypoint. After importing the route with Route Importer the route could be shown on screen. So I guess this will work.
So if there is a limit for the number of waypoints iit ismuch higher then I probably will ever need.
