our servers seemed to be fine, please try again, possibly from another hotspot
you can also try to switch to direct download in settings/advanced
you can also download maps using our PC version:
http://navigatorfree.mapfactor.com/
once maps are downloaded, copy them to your device, navigator/data folder.

Map downloads here via PC Navigator setup utility are > 1MB/sec regularly. Nothing to complain about that.

today update > 4.0 MiB/sec. That is quite good...

Currently trying to update. Download is cancelled all the time. Sometimes it continues where it stopped before, sometimes all downloaded content is discarded and I have to start over at 0 MB again.
PAIN.

Worked via Torrent now. Wish there was a reliable way of downloading maps within the Android app.

I understand now, why people complain about slow downloads. I have a new phone and since Navigator contiously crashed with my map files from the PC, I deleted all maps and now try to download directly to the phone. It takes time and time and time ...
And direct download seems to be a couple of times faster than using peers.
