Android : It would be nice if one could download Stable + Beta via in the same area as Maps & Sounds.As far as I can tell, this would not require any new code as the Maps + Sounds download area is based on an XML data structure.WHY THIS IS A GOOD IDEA :On some devices, and the number may be in the hundreds of thousands ... there is not enough room for Google Play Store (and Google Play Services, that it depends on) to update the application.

?? Do you mean maps or application?? If maps then you can change that in advanced settings.

He means the application.. His idea is to make things easy for those who don't have enough room for google play store. Actually if you have an old phone like my wife's Samsung Galaxy Turbo, you have only 160 Mb of main memory (actual available space is even less than that). I hadn't thought of uninstalling play store and play services to save room though...

Why not make an area on the server where we download the beta versions for the stable version?
