As per the forum discussion http://forum.mapfactor.com/discussion/comment/7258#Comment_7258 it would be good if the <metadata> section was not saved to a GPX file. The RouteImporter app gives an error if this XML is read, and hence saved routes cannot be later imported back into MFN.

For example, do not write this XML to saved GPX file:

<name>Created by MapFactor Navigator</name>

</metadata>

thanks for report - I suppose that the problem is not "medadata" but "navigator:version" attribute, right?

It is indeed the "navigator:version" attribute.

When using:

<name>Created by MapFactor Navigator version="1.3.24"</name>

</metadata>

or

<name>Created by MapFactor Navigator version=1.3.24</name>

</metadata>

or

<name>Created by MapFactor Navigator version 1.3.24</name>

</metadata>

It works fine in all three options. The version tag itself is referring to the gpx version which is currently at 1.1
