Nexus 5 KitKat - crashing at start and exit

I had used Navigator on the phone a few times.Today when I tried to start, all I got was a blank white page.I powered down the phone and rebooted. That cleared it and it worked OK.When I tried to exit Navigator, it crashed and I did a Google report.Then it went to a black screen and no more.Stopped the app.But now I am back to square one. White screen until I power down and reboot.Free version 1.0.135 (I have the paid version on other devices)Android 4.4 on Nexus 5

close Navigator and delete data in Android settings/application
manager/Navigator - then reboot your phone. If this does not help,
please email logs (navigator/log folder). -
Does this mean I will have to reload the maps?Will favorites be saved?Just checking...

nothing will be deleted that you can see

also crash when try write GPX track ( Nexus 5 )
