Menu bar does not work in text mode for 0.10.60

I just updated from 0.9.124 to 0.10.60 on my Asus TF300T (Android Jelly Bean OS). The default setting is to use the graphical menu for Navigator Free. That works fine. However, if I uncheck the "Use graphical menu" in the Advanced settings in order to use the text menu, the menu bar in the map becomes unresponsive. I have to uninstall and reinstall Navigator Free in order to get the graphical menu back and be able to use the app.
