btw, google maps and garmin mobile xt can both use my incite's internal gps.

Probably by editing the settings.xml file. Look for the gps com port number and change that. If you don't know the com port number then try just some number between 1 and 7. I edit the file on the PC and put it back afterwards.Hope this helps.
