Different directions from google maps

    Why the navigator maps giving different direction   from google map inspite of i use the same starting and ending adderss  ?? for example google tells me the route is 32 KM but navigator tells 30 KM ... is there a solution

    google is using different map data to start with
    if you let  us have exact departure annd destination, we can investigate
