Won’t Give Directions and turns off after an hour.

When I used my sat nav in the UK down south it was talking to me, giving directions, had all the sounds & warnings but now I’m back up in West Yorkshire, apart from saying the initial “Re-calculating the route...”, that’s it, I don’t get anything after that.
I’ve tried going through all the settings and tools section but can’t find anything that looks untoward and I’ve not altered any of the settings since travelling up north anyway.
Plus it comes out of the sat nav back to my home screen of my mobile after an hour which is no good if you’re driving, are the only one in the car and not in a position to pull over to re start it navigating again.
Any suggestions please. -

delete sounds and redownload?
