if you want to edit your "favorites.xml" for Navigator with the position data of Google Maps or OpenRouteService you can use this link. This package contains the "favorites_template.ods" Spreadsheet (use with LibeOffice/OpenOffice). I hope it is more convenient to use, at least for me it is.
Getting position data in Google Maps: You need to right-click your favorite position and select "What's here?". You'll get a "lat-value, lon-value". Copy and paste the whole string in your specific row, under Pos@GM.
Getting position data in OpenRouteService: Right-click your favorite position and select "set Start". You'll see "Pos@: lon-value lat-value" in the start-field. Copy and paste the whole string, use the Pos@ORS-column.
