Hello Community, I would need to implement own POIs in the software as it is e.g. with IGO, where POIs are kml- Files. Is there a possibility to do that? Sorry, if theres another thread with that theme. Best regards, Nebula
Convert your KML files with GPS babel to gpx file then use digger to convert to mca copy resulting mca file into navigator data. You will then find it under search poi imports
Hi, I'm a bit of dunce when it comes to PCs and sat navs, I've been using a TomTom I bought in 2006 so apps are new to me, but I think I like Navigator, I already have a lot of OV2 POIs, and even after reading the above posts, I'm not sure how to import them, so would some kind member help a thicko newbie out and type VERY SLOWLY exactly how to do it step by step like you would for you grand mother.
I think that converting option should be implemented to the mapfactor. It's very hard for me to convert each waypoints kml that I downloaded from itouristmaps.com earlier to mca format. Most navigation programs perfectly understand KML so why mapfactor doesn't?
Hello. I also think there should be some easy POI import feature inside the app - not everyone has access to PC, and many times one needs quick import on the way, like LPG stations, camping sites, geocaching etc. etc.
