GPX files in Android 6.0.1

Hey, i'm new here and need some help please.
I cannot connect an GPXfile to the Navigator app.
If i click on it, it says: "no app to connect to"
I've looksedinto the specification area but don"t find anything.
Can somebody help me?

It can depend on the file manager. Some file managers don't recognize the "mime extensions".I use total commander which recognizes "everything". I needed that for the renderstyle .mtheme files which were not recognized either and therefore didn't see MNF as the only option.so please try another file manager.

I've found the map where to put the gpx-track, MFN opens it but the track is composed of any lines and a lot of (way-)points all along the track.
I'll try to make a route of the track to see what hppens then. -

if a GPX file contains waypoints, then it is imported as routing points set, otherwise as track

thanks for help, i've installed Osmand: works much better with GPX tracks.
