Here are the coordinates: 32.672596, -96.985888. I'm trying to take Lyndon B Johnson freeway in a westerly direction. It doesn't matter what two points you pick on either side of this freeway. You try to take that freeway west and it does this weird redirection.
Well, the correction works on navigator websites: http://www.yournavigation.org/ However, when I try to make a route in the Navigator app, it still shows the weird routing. I figured that the changes to the map database would occur somewhere between the end of the month and the beginning of the next month. Today is the 16th of November, which would make it roughly 1 month since the correction. Any info about what the update schedule is for the map?
Update schedule should be monthly. But proccessing is time consuming. I don't know how long it is exactly and it seems to differ from country to country (small or large data). So I calculate two months from OSM data update until updated data show up in Mapfactor's maps.
So if I change data on the first day of a month, it takes four weeks, until you pick them up. Three more weeks for normal processing. So alltogether nearly two months ;))
Saying "planet" you mean the "planet.osm" data file http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Planet.osm? As mentioned at osm.org, this file is updated daily or weekly. So any update of osm data during the first days of a month should be contained in your download no matter if this file is created "a few days later" or not.
