I am running Navigator Free on an Alcatel One Touch 5020A version 4.1.1 and I am not getting voice. I have tried selecting either the English or French voices. I am not using Bluetooth. It all worked on my last phone, which had a slightly faster processor. Any ideas anyone?

please check sound channel selection in settings/advanced possibly deselect SCO

I am running navogator free on a samsung tablet with an older android version. Since the last update no sound is to be heard as soon as I open the map. I tried several settings and also deselected SCO. Only rarely Doris (my voice) suddenly says something, but mostly she is silent. What can I do?

Download Doris again, there was an update

I have the latest version and I also downloaded Doris again, both actions had no impact. Any other idea?

I did. No impact. The bug appears when the map is open, strangely not during search mode. Shall I uninstall navigator? But if I do, will I need to download the maps again after reinstalling?

sorry, I do not understand, what has search to do with sound?

ok: when I test the sound by turning it louder or softer I can hear the test signal when I am in "search places mode". I cannot hear it when I see the map or the main menu.

try to enable sCO, run navigation and then disable

I had the same problem, and e-mailed Tomas before finding this forum, and this thread. The solution on Tomas' post above worked for me.
