German users: please test

Welche Stimme muß ich nehmen? Ich habe aktuell die Doris, da die am freundlichsten klingt.
Und, funktioniert das mit allen Karten? Frankreich, Spanien, Portugal?

No, you can't use a recorded voice. You really need a tts voice. The default tts voice could simply be google tts which you need to set up in you Android settings.
Ja, es funktioniert mit allen Karten. Leider is ein Deutscher Stimme nicht so gut mit Französischen or Spanischen Strassen Namen (Gleich wie eine Holländischen Stimme).

Okay, I understand. I have switched to Google Text In Speach.
First impression is quite good, I'll keep on testing.
But unfortunately that voice on my WinCE-device is absolutly horrible! Sound with Android is okay.
Perhaps MapFactor can update the synthetized speak functionality for WinCE?!

wince has its own builtin tts. You can't change that.

Please hold on, I was overeager. When updating the tts.xml, I did not check the navigation.xml first.
I now have learned that only tokens used in navigation.xml with %ROAD_SIDE may be changed for my purpose. This results in tokens with "KW" (K = keep, W = whatever :P)- A-KW-00-00

I am currently working on another update of tts.xml.
Edit: Oh, I was right, though :)
Apart from %ROAD_SIDE, %MANOEUVRE_ID 3 and 5 are correct - exactly the ones I already have changed.- A-SM-03-00

Thus, I leave my tts.xml suggestion unchanged.

Today I have created a new version for German language that I am very content with. Maybe this kind of change is interesting for other languages as well (esp. for Dutch, maybe? @hvdwolf).

I have introduced a new token named "NOW" that is used for all German "now-manoeuvres".
The instructions are always created according to the following scheme:- [In x meters, now], [turn right, bear left , ....]
- [In x meters, now], in roundabout [take the xth exit, turn right, ...]
The second roundabout sentence may sound weird as English translation, but in German it makes perfectly sense.
It would be nice if these changes would be taken over to the next app version. I did not touch any non-German parts. However, please copy the German parts only as I did not use the latest xml file as base.

There is some hardcoded part concerning the following navigation.xml manoeuvre:
<manoeuvre>
<!-- ...and then... -->
<type>manoeuvres_conjuction</type>
<file>Bz-40-11</file>
</manoeuvre>
Apparently, it is used the following way:
standard_now + manoeuvres_conjunction + standard_now
The last standard_now should be replaced with a new manoeuvre type (e.g. named "standard" only).
Reason: With my recent changes, it it currently saying "Now turn right, and then now turn left", and I cannot fix it by modifying the files.

I tried it for the Dutch language but can't get it to work. I replaced the German "jetzt" for the Dutch "nu" in the Dutch part but to no avail.
I will give it a try again tomorrow.

I have updated my files on Dropbox to be based on the latest MapFactor version.
Still, my changes affect no other language -

@chattiewoman - I think, you know it, can you tell me which part in navigation.xml do I have to delete, so that the Mutti not always says "In 200 Metern ..."
It is enough for me, if she says "in 1000 Metern / in 500 Metern" and "jetzt ...". The 200 meter information is to much for me...

This restriction is not possible. You can only distinguish between ALL distances before, and NOW
