Manual (personal) map rebuild

Is there any chance for me to do manual rebuild of maps?
Currently I'm trying to remap some parts and I want to see how it's transfered into Navigator (android for me).
Is there any chance, that some farm of servers will remake whole world (it should be problem of everyone who make changes to OSM) in about 7 or 14 days?
I know that this is problem for me for about 3-4 months (until i finished maping my neighborhood).
I don't know how much CPU/RAM/DISK is used during build cycle for one state/whole planet. Is there any numbers?
