Maps for Android Version 1.0.48

My tablet has just updated to the above version. When I launch it asks if I want to buy upgraded maps!
Something like this happened once before when after an update Navigator seemed to forget that I purchased TomTom maps in November 2012.
Is the €10 upgrade for more recent maps? Can you confirm the published date of each country (Europe only) as I found that some of the 2012 maps I have been using were often many years out of date on our recent trip. OSM maps of the same area were correct but I find that routing is not so good for a caravan or motorhome even using the same vehicle profiles

yes, price is for map upgrades, maps you would get are the latest we released, i.e. TomTom release 201309
