Speeding alerts

I downloaded the latest Android version (10th June 2012) and set the speed alerts. I can now get a readout for speed (which didn't work properly before) in one panel, but I don't get any speeding alerts. The % excess is set to zero. Is this function working yet? I know some functions are activated as time goes on. Has the speed alert function been activated?
