Import Map on Navigator 10 FREE

    Hi,

    I live in Brazil and I have a HP mini Netbook with GPS Hardware card, It came with a trial software call HP Navigator, but it expired.
    After many days I found Navigator Free and I installed in my computer, It works fine, but the maps of my city isn´t very well.
    I have Garmin maps and tracksource maps here, and I want to install this maps in Navigator FREE.

    Is It possible?

    No, Garmin maps and tracksource maps won't work in Navigator FREE. If you like Navigator you can buy commercial TeleAtlas maps from MapFactor.

    Hello I would like to know what formats Navigator supports 10 FREE maps and how can I add one of the OSM maps to be more recent. Thanks in advance

    Hello,
    navigator supports only proprietary MCA files (for the map data). The data are processed directly from planet.osm and the goal is to convert "first planet in the month".

    every month, whole world (including Romania), unless there are some serious problems like with the boundary, new features ... the next source should be planet-110406.osm

    have problems with some maps. No details are shown.
    Installt Europ complet, but no details are shown for Poland, France, Spain,....
    Details are shown for Germany, Italy,...
    The maps are in folder "Data" as p.e. "poland.osm.mca".

    I see that you have data downloaded and you should see Poland:

    What do you mean by "no details" - can you find any street in Wroclaw or Paris for example? I suppose you did not disable some regions.

    Hello, I have a hp mini too and there's a problem when finding the COM port for the gps device. Do I have to set it manually? In that case what COM port and frequency should I set? Thanks, Guido.
