Navigation - invoked programmatically

I would like to be able to open Navigator Free and start navigating based upon parameters supplied (Address or Lat & Lon). I am running VB.NET CF apllications on a Windows CE device. I have looked in to TCP/IP communication and cannot figure out how to do this in my environment. I see the SEND DESTINATION AND/OR WAYPOINTS(S) AND/OR DEPARTURE documentation, not sure how to invoke this. I set the device ip address to 127.0.0.1 port 4242. Can someone explain if/how I can invoke these TCP/IP commands programmatically/command line/xml?
