Would it be early enough to test that next week only?

I am still not sure what you mean with commenting on speed in Germany. But I am located in Germany west, if that helps.

Test of Android GLES Alpha Version
I still have no stability issues in hardware mode. But yesterday I saw that the street name labels have an unstable size. Let's say I drive along a straight road, and two labels are displayed behind each other. When I move slowly, I expect the …

Yeah, next time I'd check the map coordinates to be sure.

PS (I always forgot to tell): Using hardware renderer, in navigation mode the map's blue horizon is very big compared to software renderer (I'd say by factor 3). It doesn't matter whether compass is shown or not.

I don't know whether this is fault of GLES version, but: Today I ran navigation with hardware renderer and closed the app while the navigation was still running (because I missed the target by one meter or such). Now I just started the app a…

Lock-on-Road
There is nothing to do for you: When you are navigating, the array is automatically locked to the nearest road. If you are not navigating, but simply studying the map, the arrow is displayed according to your current GPS position only.

No Voice response during navigation mode
@tomas please note this is an important issue as Navigator is used mostly in cars, with more and more Bluetooth integration

No Voice response during navigation mode
Good thing this topic is pushed again. It's indeed frustrating I can either use Navigator voice or phone calls via Bluetooth....

Today I drove with GLES and hardware renderer for 90 km, and absolutely without any problem.

But to answer your question: no, not a single crash with GLES (and hardware renderer).

"Darstellung" - "Projektion"
Fixed by myself for German language: https://crowdin.com/translate/mapfactor-navigator-android/2/en-de, text pref_map_projection, projection_names. I hope it will be used in the next Navigator versions.

Temporary close the unavailable road
I meant another menu. Click on the road in map (not navigation) mode.

On the map, click and hold on the road (be sure you didn't for example hit a parallel bicycle road). Then a menu appears, that enables you to block the selected section.

@rab That's normal and not a GLES issue, because the voice itself cannot speak quicker, although the progress on road is. The instructions are then queued and appear on wrong places. The alternative would be that while instruction 1 is not fin…

Trying to create route in Italy while in the US
Navigate always uses your current GPS position (US!) and will give you spoken instructions how to reach your destination from there. In order to simply calculate a route with a starting point of your choice, press "calculate route" in t…

Using Navigator in Windows Mobile 10, well trying to
OSM mappers also map POIs. The question is only how many of them. You can use the data that are already there, or import your own routing points.

If I understood your request correctly, the answer is hidden behind a "suboptimal" German translation :-D Einstellungen --> KARTE --> Kartenfarben --> Navigation Höhepunkt

Search by address bug or feature?
I cannot confirm that. The street I am living in is divided into many parts (I didn't count, but there are at least 5 parts), but under search it is listed two times "only": first time without km but with all (!) available house numbe…

Why no left turn?
@IU0BMP I still edit with Potlach instead of ID as browser editor, and there, turning restrictions are at least indicated too.

Apparently I previously misunderstood you. The first screen shot is showing a correct routing according to OSM. Are you sure you are allowed in reality to directly turn left?? Then OSM needs to be corrected.
