Inputting POI data sets
you can import POIs using Mapexplorer and these will show in PC Navigator without you copying anything. To see imported POIs in Pocket Navigator, you do need to copy it.

under wm6.5 navigator searches storage for map data, so windows reinstallation would not help. may be you did not switch to Navigator FREE? See settings/maps.
