problem is that, in free map, POIs are very often not linked to any admin area you can search near destination, or near map centre, so finf place, select show on map and then perform POI search near map centre

nexus 7 is 1280x800, which is quite low by today's standard Transformer depends on model, some 1280x800, some higher
