To disable automatic opening with google maps, go to android settings, apps, maps, open by default, clear defaults. From then on, you will be prompted to open with a browser.. I don't know how to open it with Navigator though..

IMO, it also depends on whether the roads are urban or extra urban. In urban areas they tend to be more reliable and usable.

It seems they are not available with this app.Another app, maps.me has the Western Samoa map (Apia). Note for developers: Wallis and Futuna are listed under North America and this is a mistake. They are actually in Oceania.

Change the starting point
Think of "navigate" as a shortcut that assumes that your starting point is your gps position (if you have defined a destination)

For your information, the problem can occur even with small roads disabled, using modified car settings. I will stick to the April map that works ok.

That's not the case with me.. I see only the first four rows and they take less than half the screen (in height). No big deal with me. I personally don't feel the need to change the arrow's colour.
