Display Roundabout exit number
Although I'm much in favor of such an icon I prefer to see the number inside the roundabout. Your number covers it partly which means that you can't see the inner side of the roundabout.

why are tertiary roads not used for navigation ?
Also: Did you check your preferences? Are you using the car profile or the bicycle/pedestrian profile. These give of course preference to minor roads compared to major roads. If you use car profile: what are your road preferences?

Please be more specific where this is. Specify coordinates or something we can search on. Both N1 and N5 can't be found as such in openstreetmap.org or nominatim

Display Roundabout exit number
I took one of the round-about pngs out of the apk and modified it. I display them as 32x32 in this post as they would approximately be on the phone screen. It is a really quick modification but I do think that this ugly edit is even more clear then …

All these SatNav app's are the same!!!
Oh, come on. OV2 is also a proprietary format. The fact that TomTom was long the only nav app supplier made other users hack the ov2 format. It can be done with the mca format as well. Use a hexeditor to find the structure.I have used several apps a…

Importing POI's from TomTom to MapFactor Navigator
There are multiple on the internet to convert the .ov2 file to some "Digger readible" file. There are also articles describing how to create .mca files. I posted two links myself and a document of my own. I will do a quick search, but hav…

Where do I put my newly created mca file?
In /Android/data/com.mapfactor.navigator/files/navigator/data It is the map where all the mca map files reside as well.

Co-ordinates in wrong format
Yes, I know. But just like (the other) Harry I did not see it in first instance. As mentioned I can hardly believe that I didn't see it the first time and that I did the second time. I really looked for it after Tomas' answer.

I can't find that question mark either in the android version. Do you mean the windows version or the Android version?I'm really confused. I checked again (closed MNF, tried 10 minutes later) and now there is a question mark.I can't a…

Yes, that is of course very convenient but where do I do that?I assume that something like that is also more fool proof that my way of working. The only reason I wrote that little script was because I was missing such a function. (The script took me…

routing problem - motorway vs motorway_link
I always drive with motorways at 60%. I even tried, like you are suggesting, switching it back to 50% and up to 75% even though I actually know this is not going to work: For MNF a motorway_link is identical to a motorway. They have the same prefere…

I don't know. Why is Northern Scotland partly wrong (http://forum.mapfactor.com/discussion/6263/something-wrong-with-northern-scotlands-isles#Item_1) in MNF and not in Openstreetmap.I think it has something to do with the way MNF creates the ma…

The river is a line and the sides of the river are "coastline" multipolygons . Most probably it is due to the fact that some parts of "coastline" multipolygons are missing or a part of the relation is missing. As the coastline i…

Thanks for pointing me to that post. However, in this case it is just the other way round: both the link and the motorway have a maxspeed of 130 for the firsrt half of the traject. And 100 km for the second part of the section.

"Use speed restriction"
Oldie's question has not been aswered yet and I'm interested as well. Anyone? I have the idea that when a motorway is normally set to 130 (or whatever) and the road is tagged as 100 (along cities and the like), MNF should calculate with th…

But that's exactly what we mean: Because of this "only_straight_on" relation, MNF does move you straight on to the junction instead of directing you from the "Feldweg" onto the right ramp "Döser Feldweg" and then o…

The problem is not MNF but OSM in this case. This cross-section has turn-restrictions where it directs you straight-forward "Feldweg to Feldweg", instead of to the right "Feldweg to Döser Feldweg".Edit 2: Now shared from fotos-ho…
