Less announcements during navigation
It is even simpler:Edit the navigation.xml and check for the following statements for your language (note that these can vary slightly per language): roundabout_later Bw-,%DISTANCE_AND_UNIT,-10 Cx-RO-00-01 Cz-RO-,%EX…

I fully agree with Tantum: The landscape mode is too far zoomed out. I used MNF the last few trips in portrait mode while I prefer landscape mode. This is with 0.38.84Edit: Sorry, I meant with 0.38.84 as well as the previous. (Note: this gles versio…

It will be a kind of a "niche" area anyway. Of course there are people interested in wikipedia and wikivoyage, just like they are interested in e.g. "all hotels in United Kingdom", or "all camper places in Europe", or…

On my last two 150+ kilometer trips (yesterday and the day before yesterday), the gles MNF version also crashed during the trip. I could restart it easily (on the highway, not in a city fortunately) and it picked up immediately, but it should not ha…

Routing via Link roads.
The fact that you set all roads to 50 miles/hour. That's not what it is in reality. And w.r.t. the side roads: According to others it is solved. I checked a few of the spots where it occurs to me and currently only on one sport it still happens,…

This would require another tag in OSM. (Edit: MNF, like many other OSM based nav apps, is dependent on the data inside openstreetmap. It's not an MNF only feature request) This has been discussed in several forums and mailing lists. Motor cycli…

As also freshly referred to in the other post: This is still not solved! This could be solved in a few ways as it is done in other nav apps as well (3 solutions proposed): priorities: slip roads / link roads have lower priority then main roads. If t…

Routing via Link roads.
Maybe that helps for you and that's fine, but your settings are only a work-around and completely mess-up the calculations for arrival time. As I had not found this 2½ old topic I created a new one on Feb 2nd. Even though it is a duplicate it m…

Be-on-road is no longer actively maintained AFAIK. The only update has been the marketing when it was acquired by cygic. You can also make poi maps for be-on-road, but they suffer more or less from the same as the MNF mca's in that they are re…

If you can export to osm, you can do it relatively easy for osmand. Edit: you could also write a python script that recursively runs through all data folders using the python "re" module to convert them to an osm file.

You are right. The files you can make yourself are POI files based on coordinates, not address based files. So you can't search from the address part in MNF. You need to search from the POI screen.

I updated the scripts. At this moment the country and region are also specifically written as a data filed to the csv, osm and sql files. I did not update the mca files as it is not used there anyway.

Your (unintentional?) suggestion is excellent. I can make my tts speak and save it. That way I can make my own warnings, untill my feature requests gets implemented (or not).Thanks. Why haven't I thought of that myself?

The voice commands are most of the time too slow at the beginning of the route. After some time, 30 secs to a minute, the commands get "in sync" again.I tried this a couple of times with and without reboots.
