Turn left?

This is where National Road (?) 7 becomes Highway D 7 in the Czech Republic just north of Postoloprty.
In reality you just go straight ahead on the road, which just widens to the two lines of the highway. My sun (8) yesterday wondered, why Navigator asked us to turn left, what would have meant, that we had crashed into the rails separating the two directions of the highway.
