Are you able to use / implement Eircode as it was done with the United Kingdom Postcode - Ordnance Survey?

Ossian Smyth is a politician for the green party and has no involvement with eircode as far as I know.
He's pointing to crowdsourced routing key map (by the people for the people = free, nothing to do eircode.ie)?
eircode.ie is state = pay for commercial usage / databases

So as I'm not a coder nor a developer, perhaps this is of some use for navigator:
Google integrated Eircode information integrated with their mapping data in Ireland in September 2016.
"For Ireland, the Google Geocoder is ..." < important to read the full line in above link, 3rd paragraph.

Great, works like a charm, when you are on line for search. Wasn't aware this worked with Google Search.
