I enjoy now being able to record .gpx files, copy them from my 'phone to my PC and view them and their details in Garmin's BaseCamp, thanks in no small part to users of this forum.  I cannot see a means of adjusting the frequency of points recorded on a journey either by time or distance in Navigator FREE.  Tables of two journeys, one by car and one on foot, suggest the points' interval is dictated by time: car leg length = five seconds; pedestrian leg length = one second.  Is this so?  Is it possible that user interaction to set one's own time or distance interval could be introduced?  I ask this as an OSM contributor working with its offline editor, JOSM.
