why are tertiary roads not used for navigation ?

I observe that minor (or unknown) roads are used for navigation, but that tertiary roads, which are of higher level, are NOT used. Is it a bug are what do I wrong ?

Also: Did you check your preferences?Are you using the car profile or the bicycle/pedestrian profile. These give of course preference to minor roads compared to major roads.If you use car profile: what are your road preferences?

you got it ! all the road preferences are set (by default) at 50%. Many thanks for your comment.
