Saving Changes to My Places?

I added destinations to My Places, created a new Group and moved them into it, but the move never "takes".The next time I open the app the destinations are there, but the new Group is gone. How do I make the changes permanent?Thanks.

I never heard about such an issue before. Are you already using the latest version from Google Play? If not, please update first.

OK, I finally figured out that you have to Exit the app for the changes to take. I was just shutting down my Nexus 7 at the end of the day and I guess MapFactor was still running.
