Consider this way (map West Germany): http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=18/51.93703/8.88323 When you drive from north to south, streets "Hasselter Platz" and "Leopoldstraße" are split in OSM data due to physical cut-off. Currently Navigator cannot handle this scenario corrently and will instruct you to "turn right" instead of driving straight.
Actually I understand the way Navigator behaves... But is there a chance to consider the parallel roads as one, and thus preventing false instructions?
I didn't make any changes. Of course additionally link between secondary roads as two way, and links Blomberger Str. without name. (Better check it on the other example - links as oneway.)
Thanks, it will be changed. Currently us local mappers do not share the same opinion about how to solve, but this should not be anybody else's concern :-)
