suggestions for information policy
  • Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but use Navigator Free / OSM for quite a while already, mostly with bicycle and when travelling with my scooter. With the help of the support (Thanks to Tomas and Jan) I made my donation and eventually bought TomTom maps Europe using normal bank transfer.
I don't understand why users cannot find out how expensive or cheap the TomTom maps are without stepping into the buying process, and perhaps even fearing the risk not to be able to return to the free OSM version. I suggest to offer the information  that you get all Europe for just 20 EUR and a single country for 15 EUR more easily.
Another observation I made is the somewhat cryptic route to get to the right MapFactor homepage. Google Playstore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mapfactor.navigator) leads to the site  http://www.mapfactor.com/en/ with all the products for sale that are not of immediate interest for people interested in the android app. The button to NavigatorFree cannot easiliy be found, and, moreover requires some fantasy to guess that "MapFactor: GPS Navigation"  (Play Store) is called "NavigatorFree" on this site. Couldn't the MapFactor team have Google direct users to http://navigatorfree.mapfactor.com/?
Thank you for Navigator anyway ;)
    Peter
