Cannot re-install Navigator Free; problem fixed

For some reason, Navigator decided it couldn't find the SD card in my Android 4.2.2 phone. It had been working well earlier. This may have occurred after Android updated itself - I am not sure. The message it gave was something like "Navigator requires SD card" and the only option was "OK". After pressing that, the message flashed off and back on. It would not go away.
I could not find a way around this. I did a forced stop. That seemed to help. When I tried the program again, same message and problem.
So I uninstalled it. Now, when I go to Google Play, I am told Navigator is installed and thus cannot re-install.
How do I proceed from here? Thank you for your help.
