Digger Console

I have been reading the various threads about Digger Console and have tried the workaround to create digger_config.xml. It is created in a folder called 'PoiTitle. together with another folder called 'PoiTitle.mca which must be deteted.
When the command is re-run but now pointing at ..\PoiTitle\digger_config.xml - HOORAY it works but then deletes the folder containing digger_config.xml so next time the command is run it fails because digger_config.xml no longer exists.
If this is supposed to automate the process what am I doing wrong?
