i was driving to Washington DC to visit a friend from northern Virginia the other day - using Mapfactor installed on my android phone. my destination was just north of National zoo in DC. However, Mapfactor directed me to go through all the local streets in DC after crossing into DC via Memorial Bridge to reach the destination - through all the heavy traffic and frequent stops, instead of taking the more direct and fast route via Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway, as shown on Google maps. the difference between these two routes during evening hours are about 1 hour.
and it reminds me that Last time when i drove through DC to Maryland, Mapfactor actually got me lost in the city. the routings in Washington DC need serious improvement.
