Cannot record tracks: button is missing

    Hi,
    in your latest downloadable Android version here in the forum (cannot remember which version that was) I cannot record any tracks, as the record button at the bottom left corner of the screen is missing.
    In order to resolve it, I downgraded to older version 1.0.68.

    may be you set to record journeys automatically?
    then you see flasshing icon, which you can pull to the left

    No I didn't, at least not intentionally. And as I said, just the older version - but the same settings - resolved it.

    PS:
    I mean the window unter Tools where you have the NMEA and GPX tabs at the top. It would be easier to explain if I could upload pictures directly instead of having to use URLs ...

    have a look (in the latest version) in settings/gps positions recording

    There are three possible options, and I have tested each one: no button is displayed in the other window.
