Missing "Detail"

    That is, if you regard the largest fresh-water repositories on the planet a "detail" ;)

    Same route as the experiment with the OSM maps, only now with the TomTom maps: Iron Mountain, MI., to West Angle, MN.

    It looks like it might be a sane route, but it's hard to say, because there's absolutely no map detail whatsoever, regardless of zoom level.  This happens frequently with the TomTom maps.

    This route looked to be (somewhat?) similar to what Google Maps produced for that leg.  Again: Hard to say.
