Map Factor navigator on windows phone 8
Is there any hope to see Navigator for WP 8(.1) in the near future? I could not find any mature OSM based navigation app on WP 8.1.

Why won't it let me enter house numbers?
@lagiraudiere just fyi ... there exist no "old-style" and "new-style" addresses. I can not remember that I have seen associatedStreet relations but the numbers in tagwatch say that it must be used somewhere http://taginfo.openstr…

turn lanes not displayed
*link does not help always, especially in urban areas. tertiary_link sounds strange and residential_link even more. Anyway, there are some characteristics for bypasses. (*_)left and/or through destinations remain the same on the following through-ro…

Advanced turn:lanes and destination:lanes question
if you follow this way http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/203676200 in direction München(very long turn lanes, 2x splitting turn lanes and destination signpost that ask you for using specific lanes 2 turns before instead of one) you get a tric…

Signposts appear >10km to early
The bug is still there. I got a signpost 35km too early with the new data published this night for South Germany. I think I know what happens. It displays you the next available information from destination:lanes on your route, regardless how far aw…

access=destination is not a blocked road and should be used if the destination is along this road. That's basically what the "destination" as value mean. Not sure why hurdygurdyman is telling you to block the road. Usually access=dest…

Advanced turn:lanes and destination:lanes question
I am currently discussing the possibility to split destinations for lanes that go to more than one direction in the OSM Forum. Current idea: turn:lanes=slight_left;slight_right destination:lanes=[A;B;C][D] -> ABC goes left, D right. This would al…

OK, sounds good. But please let me ask another question: How do you know that you have to combine the information for 2 junctions? I mean such situations don't only exist on motorways but also in city areas. Would it help you in the above examp…

Oh, thank you! That's really great. I am still thinking how to better tag ways with more than one direction (middle lane in above example) as I understand that is far from being perfect. May I ask what you mean with "unfortunately probably…

we call it touching inner rings. This is an error in standard GIS definition but not in OSM. Some in OSM wants to be more in line with the standard GIS definition and we have a map showing touching inner http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=multipol…

I have no Pocket/PC/PND Navigator yet. Is there any way to test it with a laptop using an android phone as external bluetooth GPS? I am driving this way (75km) each working day.

Well, but if you turn slight_right, then it is not good to take the destination names from a lane that is tagged "through;slight_right" and potential have destination names for both; slight_right and through in this case. There is a lane w…
