There is no direct function to do so. The Locations are stored in different XML files (e.g. Favourites.xml). Hence you can copy them from there, and the recipient would have to insert it there.

As far as I know, you may delete the file as a new, empty one would automatically be created. Just one guess: Are you really in the correct phone directory? These app data may be stored in the internal memory or, if set up, on the SD card.

In my opinion, you should not worry about choosing routes, setting waypoints or whatever. Once you have blocked all forbidden connections, the next proposed route will be correct.

GPS tracking of driven routes
There is tool available to track your current route, even in GPX format. This will set the place marks automatically, you can set it how often. I just never tried it, so I cannot tell whether it works well or not :-)
