The alternative routes are interesting for users with local knowledge, as navigation devices often propose to drive through town X, but you prefer Y. Or you know, that motorway Z is usually too full and should not be chosen.

Take next exit - what does the French voice say?
If you mean the tts voice, you can look it up in the tts.xml: Search for the German expression, copy the token ID, search for it until the French version is found

You got me wrong: GPS was already available, the route was already calculated, and the instructions came correctly as I drove for a while. But the map was North up though.

Please consider my edits above. @MapFactor: The tts.xml contains tokens like Bu-*Bv-*They are currently not used in navigation.xml, no matter which language. What are these tokens for, then?

Update: After the fifth attempt to open Navigator v39 and sending logs to Tomas, tts was available and working again.

On my device, it's a mess as tts cannot be chosen anymore. My options are no sound and recorded sounds. Navi lock Doris now is activated, but does not make a sound :(
