Przemek, this won't do it. Replacing distance with "soon" does not solve the problem that the announcement will be repeated in 1000, 500 etc. metres.

Delete voice announcements waypoints
The calls are repeated per language, so there is no sense in a full text search. Search first for the section for your language, and do changes only in it. (before you do, save a copy!) You see it easily when you scroll down the file.

Depending on current settings, you are probably in an incorrect folder. Just as a test, add a place to "my places" using the app and check where the new file has been created.

U-Turn algorithm
U-turns are considered to be taken on a section of the very same street. When streets are split like in your example, Navigator doesn't treat them as one street anymore. So it wants you to turn into "another" one.

@hvdwolf About the coordinates: In map, drag the point to the exact middle of the screen. Then go to search - - > coordinates and simply find the coordinates there.

Check your settings. Mine were set back to recorded voice. If it's really your tts still not saying street names, you'd have to fix the tts.xml and probably the navigation.xml yourself. I didn't test it yet, with German language.

Thai maps
Under settings you can set the map language to Englisch. If you are using OSM maps, note that English names can be displayed only as long as somebody has mapped an English translation for them. Hence there is no guarantee it will be complete.
