Android menu button not working (4.4.2)
Sorry for the misunderstanding. But I simply don't have those 3 stripes on my Android 4.2.2. This screen line is only showing "Waiting for good GPS signals" when the GPS has not yet acquired a position or is unavailable, otherwise emp…

Android menu button not working (4.4.2)
The Android menu button is not supposed to do anything at all. Does nothing on 4.2.2 also. You should control the navigator app with the 9 buttons provided by the app on the screen: Search, Navigate, Routing info, My places, Tools, Map and on the bo…

Navigator Free suggest route through highway=path
I checked all 3 versions for you: Windows, WINCE and Android route exactly in the same way. For your Sedziszow examples, if departure and destination are set ON a road, routing does not use footpaths. Your 2 examples with the coordinates are exactl…

Navigator Free suggest route through highway=path
Out of curiosity I routed the above 2 examples and they are completely ok. Not using footpaths. Using PC version 12.3.0 with map from 28-04-2014 with standard car. Result is independent of routing mode. I set however departure and destination on the…

Route Reversal
Only the routing points reverse and then you have to recalculate the new route manually. Just reversing the itinerary doesn't make sense imho. There could be different road conditions, other one ways etc

Navigating in 2D North-up
Well the fact that the above mentioned workaround correctly leaves the map in 2 D North up in navigation mode tells me that it makes a difference in which mode you are entering settings and set the Map Rotation variable on or off. Map Rotation off…

2D yes but not 2D North up, if I'm not completely mistaken. Unless you mean the workaround in http://forum.mapfactor.com/discussion/comment/2498#Comment_2498 Uli

Navigating in 2D North-up
Lately quite a few new navigator (beta-)versions have appeared for Android. But I haven't seen any new development for the WINCE version, also nothing shows up under actual updates besides new maps. I'm especiallay eager to have the 2D Nor…

Waiting for Valid GPS Signal
There are several possibilities: - does your Android device have a GPS sensor at all? - have you switched your GPS on, in Android? If yes, then maybe you have no GPS reception or a too weak signal. Doesn't work inside a building. To find that…

Maps suddenly missing
Did you do an update over the existing installation or a new clean installation? If clean then the following may possibly apply to you: http://forum.mapfactor.com/discussion/4345/no-folders-on-android-4-2-2 Uli Edit: Sorry too late

Question: "Speed" and "Road Restrictions" settings?
As I understand it the speed limit warning applies only to speed traffic signs if and when they are available in the maps. IMHO in OSM they are not very complete. The speeds in road restrictions are used for calculating estimated travel times, beca…

Finally, thank you. Now please add this feature to the WINCE version too. The mentioned workaround is not very user friendly. Uli

Problem recording tracks
You don't need a destination point nor an active route to record a track. Go to Tools -> Record/replay/Manage GPS files. There you can select if you want NMEA or GPX format. Then touch Record as NMEA / Record as GPX Uli

Displaying street numbers "on the roads"

This is a known problem/bug of Android 4.3.x in CM10.2 and a reason I went back to 10.1.2. But I have seen solutions in the web with changing properties which didn't work in my case or look at the thread "not enough space" in this for…

It is my opinion that it should not be like this, that one service stays active, when you don't want notifications i.e. search for map updates is deactivated. In this case when I close navigator all services should be closed too. For those wh…

My 12-Setup gave me that option. Have you set "Early Map Access" in settings. My setup version is 12.0.5. Could be you also need to download and install a new setup version. Uli
