if you cannot change a navigation path, then you need to rename navigator.exe and path to it according to how navman expects it

kommercial or free Maps - differences
in general, commercial maps have better routing attributes and therefore routes are more accurate and realistic. However, coverage can be better in free or commercial maps, it depends on country. Navigator software is the same for both maps.

Navigator 11 does not recognize GPS port in some WinCE 5.0 devices. But Navigator 10 does!
there should be no difference between v11.0.35 and 11.0.37 in GPS settings - I think there must be a conflict or incorrect settings

if you you have a tmc receiver, then yes if you have Navigator FREE, then TMC is available in Germany only, in commercial maps it is in many more countries

I think you misunderstood - you can edit com port and baud rate, but your gps must be outputing NMEA COM7 115200 baud rate is usually 4800, sometimes 9600 or 38400

Hi Ecosais, you simply cannot compare map data from Teleatlas with free maps from OSM. Maps from Teleatlas (available in all commercial versions) have more accurate attributes and consequence is that routes are better. The same applies to seraches. …

this is not that simple - a lot of streets have higher speed limit and have no attribute "city", even if they are in a city if it is done as you suggest then other streets will be incorrect

TMC - advisor not working
Navigator FREE has no location tables for any country appart from Germany. Tables are available for western Europe + Czech Republic with commercial maps

11.0.15 is the setup utilities version ? look on your sd card for navigator.log.txt - when you open it you should see what version you have and why it is not running
