Switching installed maps
Andy44, your problem seems to be the distance between Canada and Morocco.Zoom out until you see Africa (like a view from space) and than zoom in to Morocco. The details there will appear ;)

Coming home I'll find out a pretty silly example in Freiburg. It's hard to do that with my smartphone jet.

I dont know any professional map-dealer offering maps with data less than one month old. So I'm lucky and thankfull with this getting for free.

Thanks, and feature request
Yes, maxspeed-informations added to every road are needed to calculate fastest route. A lot of towns minimized maxspeed under urban standard and so routers ar helpless without maxspeed and calculate with their own inplemented speed for any roadtype.…

Issue with route recalculation
I agree to tomas. It's the same here. Changing profile even from car to pedestrian or disabling toll roads or so in profile I get a recalculation.

routing & speed settings
I thougt about urban status of roads. One indication in OSM-data for them are the areal informations about landuse as residential, industrial and retail. If MNF would set the roads within these areas as urban, it could be a nearby workaround.

The problem is the missing of informations about urban status on street data in OSM. There are just punctual informations on roads, where signs show the beginning or end of urban areas.

Unlucky :-( 1.3.33 doesn't work on Samsung GT-9001 (known as S+) and Android 2.3.6. I had to reinstall 1.3.24

@riccie: putting "unclassified" together with "residential" etc. isn't a good idea, because "Unclassified is used for minor public roads typically at the lowest level of the interconnecting grid network." (see http…

"I got no answer from Italy until now. But we need local knowlegde to fix that..." Its still the same: no answer :-( But until the missing speedlimits through the town are not fixed, there will be no good solution for better routing.

Hi Tule, I approve your opinion. There is no need to differ *_link by number (but by speed). So we would get the chance to have some free numbers to differ lower street-categories in higher numbers. I'm thinking about, but didn't find the …
